I was wonder what the average semen volume for a boar the is just over a year old. thanks for the help

about 175 to 200 ml

OH wow well what is it is only like 100 would he be considered sterile then?? There coloring is milky white

No, your boar is not sterile . The volume is just off. Not to worry . If you dont need high volume , that this will be o.k. . Just use a low ratio of extender

Hey Amanda, have you started collecting the duroc yet? have any pictures or him?

well the duroc is still young. he was born march 30th. when should i start getting him use to a dummy? I also have a york boar that is looking really well he was born april 4th he is Right Choice X New Beginnings. the duroc boar he is already trying to ride a gilt that i have with him. in fact he already extends and everything now. i am going to have to move the gilt here in the next day or so to the other pen.
