What age do you wean show pigs

Some breeders wean at 4 weeks others wean at 6-8 weeks

I start creep feeding at 14 days old, and wean at 21-28 days depending on how the sow is holding up and if I need to breed back in a hurry. I run one back of Honor 209 through them then follow with what will now be the 309 to 25lbs. then will start feeding the 509.

At a week old we started using that Purina Wean One....OMG sticker shock...but then again looking at the muscle development in those 3/4 red waddles was worth the money.

We base the weaning time on sow condition and how good the pigs are doing. It's generally around 5-6 weeks. We may wean sooner if we need crate space also.
