F1s are when you take 2 different purebred breeds and breed them together. This first mating is called an F1. What you are doing is to try to take the best trates of the 2 and combine them giving there off spring the hybrid vigure. Yes you can show them in a market class, and with you from Texas depending on how they appear would be how they are classified. Hense you take a hamp and cross with a york, you get blue butts which would clssify cross. You take a Landerace and a york, depending on wether the ears are erect or not and the size of the ears, they could classify york,landrace, or even chester.
