I have three show pigs. 1 crossbred gilt (weighs 145), duroc barrow(weighs 142) and crossbred barrow(weighs 195) The two crossbred are for county fair, which stars July 10th. the other is for our state fair which is August 5th.
All three are on G-line developer feed that is 18% protein, they need more rib shape.
I'm considering high octane depth charge, power fuel to linders m n m top dress. should I just feed depth charge or can I combine it with power fuel? Or possibly some beet pulp or oats?
Finally, paylean for the final 14-21 days? They got decent muscle, I'm religious about walking them daily.
Any suggestions and advice is appreciated. This is my first year showing pigs.
