What do you have for the unexpected?

What do you have in your toolbox for the unexpected. First year breeding so far so good but I am trying to put my med box and a tool box together. What do you have? I have:
-Betadine
-Pean Clamps 5" and 10"
-Needles and syringes
-Ear notcher
-Blue lotion wound dressing
-Triple antibiotic
-Razor blades (just castrated my first liter)
-Scissors
-Teeth cutters
-Ear tagger
-Preparation H suppsitories
Thats about it right now let me know what you have or what im missing

OH a paint stick that you can use on animals

I use Disposable #10 scaples for castrating, I also keep a pair of scissors that I use for tail docking. As far as tooth nippers I don't do it anymore, the babies are not usually on the mother long enough to be a bother, plus you don't have the risk of an infection.

dental floss and a curve needle, because after our 1st litter son and I found out that those prethreaded needles were garbage when you were trying to stitch up a belly cut on a 3 day old piglet

PS also a bottle of Penicillan is a must

I used BLUE LOTION for castrating, it probably stings a little but healed quick

how about having a emergency plan for the unexpected.. i know i have been caught hanging a couple of times when i needed them and i had nothing in my toolbox. now i have all that handy and even extras for the just in case.

* Ob gloves

*Oxytocin or Lute

* a bottle of lubricant

* rectal thermometer

* a couple of shop towels

* a good assistant to help you out on those long sleepless nights
